Silicone/acrylic impact modifier
The silicone core-shell structure impact modifier products from Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation in Japan typically feature a core made of silicone (polysiloxane) and a shell made of acrylic polymer or methyl methacrylate (MMA), forming a typical core-shell structure. These products are used to improve the low-temperature impact resistance of engineering plastics, especially polycarbonate (PC), nylon (PA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), etc., while maintaining the rigidity and processability of the materials.
